Brand New Training Pool!
From February Rowand's Reef will have access to use UBC Aquatic Centre's Brand New Pool and Facilities for our Scuba Diving Training!
Rowand's Reef uses swimming pool training for a large number of our scuba diving courses, including the PADI Open Water Course and PADI Refresher Courses. It allows students to learn and practice skills in a much easier and controlled environment.
The new $39 million dollar Aquatic Center has a separate Activity pool which has been designed with scuba divers in mind. It features a 4.5 meter deep section, which makes learning and practicing buoyancy much better!
After making a test dive there before it opened our team of Dive Instructors are very excited about using using it for teaching!
